Útlum těžby uhlí na dole Dukla v OKD, a. s.

Abstract

The bachelor thesis concerns the issue of the process of the decline in coal mining at the Dukla Mine in OKD, a.s., and it points out the basic causes of the decline in coal mining activity in OKD, a. s. The thesis deals with the history of the Dukla Mine, describes the mining space and states the ownership rights and the overall volume of minerals extracted at the Dukla Mine. Furthermore, the thesis describes the course of the coal mining decline process in individual phases and the course of the removal of main mining works of the underground mine and presents the opinion that the only sustainable and safe removal method is to fill the whole shaft with reinforced filling material and points out the fact that the implementation of the decline requires considerable financial expenses.
