Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on analyzing student satisfaction with university cafés at the VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. The aim of the study is to determine the level of student satisfaction, identify the strengths and weaknesses of individual cafés, and propose recommendations for improving the services provided based on the findings.
The data analysis revealed that students are generally satisfied with the quality of the product range and customer service at university cafés. However, shortcomings were identified in areas such as interior furnishings and pricing policy. Positional maps were used to visualize the factors that influence overall customer satisfaction.
Based on the results, specific recommendations were proposed to improve the services of university cafés, including the expansion of the product offerings, adjustments to interior design, and improved communication with customers. Implementing these measures could contribute to increased student satisfaction and help strengthen the university's image.
