Abstract
The master dissertation examines options of using waste foundry mixtures containing furan. For this specific purpose, have been accomplished tests of physical characteristics such as particle size analysis, determination of particles below 0.02 mm, humidity and bulk density. The tests were carried out on samples of waste from mechanical regeneration chromite and silica sand.
