Abstract

Northern Czech are among the most structurally affected regions, is described as an area with a high proportion of industry and a high degrese of urbanization. Development of entrepreneurial activities in this region is determined, concerted support from the State and the European Union. This support is implemented through different programs and is focused on strengthening the entrepreneurial skills to the sustainability of newly established small and medium-sized enterprises Purpose of this work is to highlight the opportunities for promoting new entrepreneurs through financial subsidies from the European Union, in particular the European Social Fund, and the possibilities of using grants from the active employment policy.
