Zhodnocení benefitů jako prostředku k motivaci a spokojenosti zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the benefits provided to the employees of the selected organization from the point of view of their motivation for better work performance and greater employee satisfaction, and above all, based on the analysis of existing benefits, to propose new benefits to the selected organization that will strengthen the satisfaction and motivation of their employees. The data needed for the analysis of existing benefits was obtained using a questionnaire survey, in which 73% of the employees of the selected organization participated. It was found that employees are satisfied with the amount of benefits offered by the employer, but they are very sensitive to the reduction in their value, which occurred as a result of legislative changes regarding contributions to the cultural and social needs fund. Furthermore, it was investigated what motivates employees to better work performance, first in general, when the most motivating factors for employees were job security, job content and recognition from colleagues. Subsequently, it was determined which benefits motivate employees to perform better. Most employees indicated some form of time off and flexible working hours. Based on the findings, recommendations were formulated for employers to improve the current situation. These recommendations respected the limited financial resources available to the employer and focused on improving the situation with the help of tools that the employer already has or require minimal investment, such as a change in the provision of information about the benefits that the employer offers, proposals for improving the working environment, strengthening benefits of non-monetary value such as valuing the employee's success, setting equal conditions for drawing benefits for all employees and negotiating discounts with service providers that the employer cannot provide to the employees themselves.
