Abstract

This publication deals with Life Cycle Assessment of coke. The first part describes the method of LCA and its benefits and practical application. Following are the qualifying criteria for a study LCA. The next section summarizes the inputs and outputs under various stages of evaluation and from its own coal mines, through the production of coke to use in the agglomeration. With the help of the data analysis are carried out environmental impact and contributions to: global warming, acidification, waste and photochemical ozone. The conclusion is then evaluated and problematic phase of its main issue, the proposal to reduce the relevant emissions.
