Abstract
Main topic of thesis is the analysis of steel nodes by finite element method. These steel nodes are calculated according to the normative CSN EN 1993-1-8, if conditions are permitted by the standards. After that, there is performed analysis of numerical model of linear and nonlinear calculations, which were compared with standard procedures. Suggestion of solved nodes is made according to relative or plastic deformation, which contains standard CSN EN 1993-1-5. This assessment is govern by GMNA method. This method is further specified by standards CSN EN 1993-1-6. Thesis describes creating of numerous models and their rules for correct formation. Numerous model was created by applying statically software Scia Engineer.
