Abstract

The thesis focuses on the employment policy of teachers and other staff at Medical High School in Ostrava. In this thesis I deal with the process of hiring new employees, what demands are made upon the potential employees and what skills and knowledge should every one of them possess. I also focused on employment contracts and the different types the Czech law recognizes.

The thesis' main goal is to find out, whether the current and past contracts are or were made according to law. I also try to point out the dangers of employment contracts and means to minimize them.
