Abstract

The subject of the thesis is the creation of a new sub-center of the city district Dúbravka. On the basis of urban analyzes and subsequent evaluation, the thesis offers a possible solution of an artistic center referring to a distinctive creative personality - sculptor Jozef Jankovič, who had his birth house with a studio in Dúbravka. The aim of the thesis is to design a space of a reasonable size with a clear identity and symbolic object.
