Abstract

The theme of this bachelor thesis is passing professional practice as a technical specialist in team Unified Communications and Collaboration in the company Tieto Czech. The first paragraphs introduce reader into Unified Communications and describe all pros and features of implementation.

The primary subject of this thesis is about communication tool Microsoft Lync 2013 and Skype for Business which are highly used applications for communications and impact of unavailability is critical. Their support and designing is provided by UCC team for all Tieto’s customers and also for Tieto itself. Both of these applications offer the possibility of an extension of everyday communication as audio calls, conference or instant message and so on. Implementation of Skype for Business for a midsize business is one of my solution. Next project is about improving user experience with Lync 2013 service for Tieto.

The result of this work is final improvement the quality of services Lync 2013 and the creation solution Skype for Business and topology for midsize businesses.
