Abstract

The aim of Diploma thesis is to assess possibility of usage Fusible Link constructions for Heat Transfer according to fire progression over time and evaluate possibility of its application in the conditions of Czech Republic. Diploma thesis is divided into several parts. First part introduces concept of Heat Transfer during fire and Fire Link constructions. Second part deals with fire progression over time, characterized by Heat Flux. Next part follows with determining actual Fire Link activation time based on theoretical calculations of ceiling convections. Finally, possible uses of Fire Link constructions for Heat Transfer are evaluted according to Czech Republic legislation in the last part.
