Abstract
The subject of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of health systems in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. The thesis sumarizes basic information about health system types. It describes functions of the individual subjects of system. It characterizes financial mechanisms of health care. It investigates possibilities of efficiency increase of these financial resources allocation. In conclusion it compares countries of the European Union by basic indicators of health systems.
