Individual Professional Practice in the Company

Abstract

The main objective of my practical training in Tieto Czech s.r.o. was for me to gain experience with new software solutions, get familiar with working in ICT company and learn to work in a project. To reach these goals, I was assigned to learn the use of solutions which I had no previous experience in and use that knowledge in my project. To gain this knowledge I used different sources e.g. tutorials and documentation meant for GIS applications as well as learning from the employees of Tieto. By learning project management and different methods related to creation and designing of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application, I was able to complete the goal of my practical training which was to create map application with ArcGIS solutions.
