Abstract
Subject of my diploma thesis is: “Status of banking system in Czech
Republic, its regulation and supervision on its business”. When analyzing
regulation rules of banking, there is attention taken to risks in banking
and capital guidelines set by Basel committee. In this thesis, there is a
part devoted to actual news about new laws for consumer credits. At the end,
there are proposed changes to these laws to correct errors related to usury
in the process of setting the interest rate.
