Abstract
In the presented work is processed the analysis of investment in selected commodities. The first part deals with the concept of investment. There are explained basic concepts of investing, investment methods and basic of portfolio allocation. In the next section of diploma thesis is elaborated price development of selected commodities in the years 2005 – 2015.
