Abstract
The thesis is focused on biocompatible titanium alloy Ti6Al4V. Theoretical part contains mechanical properties, methods of forming and heat treatment. The practical part is focused on optimizing mechanical properties of the alloy by heat treatment, which took place in argon and hydrogen. The tensile test and digital image correlation was performed. The influence of heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloy was evaluated.
