Abstract

This graduation theses deals with the parking of vehicles that run on gaseous fuels in enclosed car parks. It looks at the safety of parking this type of car. In recent years gaseous fuelled cars have increased in popularity but little has been said about whether the fuel is safe or dangerous. Presently, in the Czech Republic, there is no restriction on the number of gaseous fuelled cars parked in enclosed public car parks. Until 2009, nothing had even been written about the safety of such garages. There has been an absence of technical regulations containing the requirements for enclosed car parks. It is necessary to have technical requirements for a enclosed car park of vehicles running on gaseous fuels. Without such restrictions the safety of the surrounding area could be in danger. The technical requirements for instalation the safety device in garage is needed if enclosed car parks are to remain free from potential harm.
