Abstract

Public illumination covers up illumination of public communications for trafic, walkers. It is an important part of environment and substantionaly influence public order and safety of traffic, people, possession and subjective feeling in this area. In a wiew of lightening crossing is important to get basic requirements such as bigger illumination of crossing against way, kontrast, and prevent dazzlement of drivers who arrive to the crossing. This leads to increase the safety for walkers and it is important first. Tunel lighting is one of the most complicated problems in candlelight. The single valued purpose in tunel lighting is to get safe operation in tunel during the day and night too. Public illumination belongs to so-called non-payed services to inhabitans (one of last), which is secured and financed by local offices from their budgets.
