Abstract
The Visegrad Group is an informal grouping of four Central European post-socialist states, namely the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary. In the present diploma thesis, based on the development of the cooperation of the Visegrad Group countries and the analysis of the integration processes in the European Union, the prospects for V4 cooperation in the changing EU are outlined. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze possible scenarios of V4 cooperation for the future in the conditions of changing European Union, based on the investigation and analysis of integration processes in the EU. The diploma thesis positively evaluates the V4 countries' cooperation with each other, its goals and future perspectives, while pointing out the negative areas of mutual cooperation.
