Abstract
The aim of the thesis is the design and construction of a test product with triple functionality. These functions are the measuring of heart rate, counting of steps and measuring of the temperature. Furthermore, the measured data are forwarded by using Bluetooth Low Energy wireless communication. The overall function of the device is driven by a microcontroller. The principles of the selected sensors, the architecture of Bluetooth Low Energy wireless technology and the architecture of the selected microcontroller were studied. The function of development tools, in which designs were implemented, were studied. The software of the microcontroller is designed so that it can be used for various variants. The printed circuit board is created from the designed wiring diagram. Based on these designs, the device is manufactured and tested.
