Abstract

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the competitive analysis of furniture company. The owner of the company wished to be anonymous, so the company is referred to as company X. The aim of the work was to find out what company X is in the current market with its competitors. It has also been investigated whether it can adapt to modern trends or respond to sudden macroeconomic changes. The first chapter introduces the market where the company is located. It also defines the goal I have set for this bachelor thesis. Subsequently, a structure is described, based on which the work is structured. The second chapter focuses on theoretical content. The theoretical part includes concepts such as strategy, environmental analysis, competition, and more. Also defined is the SPACE method, which is one of the most important concepts of this work. The third chapter describes the organization itself for which the work is being processed. The description focuses on the most important information that can be used to get a good insight into the company, as well as a better orientation in the next chapter. The fourth chapter serves to apply analyzes that have greatly helped to achieve the goal of work. The fifth chapter summarizes the findings, which were used in making recommendations and suggestions for the selected company and the conclusion.
