Dopady řecké krize na eurozónu

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the impact of the crisis on the Greek euro area in terms of macroeconomic indicators. Which are: gross domestic product, unemployment, inflation, budget deficit and public debt. The current global crisis escalated and serious internal problems of the euro area and revealed its inherent shortcomings. In 2002, when the single european currency began to be used in the form of cash in twelve European countries, had no idea what the currency is waiting eight years later. This project represents the completion of long-term integration efforts of European countries after the Second World War. We can say that the single currency today is undergoing one of the most difficult period since its inception. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is focused on explaining the economic crisis from the perspective of various economists. These are discussed here about the biggest crisis to hit the globalized world until now. The second chapter focuses on the development of the Greek economy since it joined the euro area is also given the economic situation in Greece before joining the European Monetary Union, since it broke out during this period one of the reasons that led Greece to the present crisis. The final part of the thesis is devoted to analyzing the impact of the crisis on the Greek euro. By creating a rescue mechanism that leaders make to prevent the collapse of the monetary union and prevent future debt crisis.
