Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of forecasting production of solar power plants according to the weather forecasts. The first part clarifies the issues of photovoltaics, weather forecasting and production of photovoltaic power plants. Theoretical knowledge is processed into a design of numerical model, on the basis of which it will be possible to predict production of solar power plant. The work also deals with designing an application that will implement this model and provide it as a service in the form of an API and by visualizing the predicted data in the form of a web application.
