Analýza použití SiC při výrobě litin

Abstract

This thesis deals with the study of the effect of silicon carbide on the crystallization of cast iron. In the theoretical part of the thesis are described the regularities of crystallization cast iron, with a focus on comparison of the influence of metalurgical processing of cast iron by silicon carbide and ferosilicium. In the experimental part, laboratory melts with different contents of SiC and FeSi75 were evaluated. Test castings are evaluated by metallographic, chemical and thermal analysis and by analysis of mechanical properties.
