Návrh kybernetického zabezpečení IS malého obchodního podniku

Abstract

Cyber security is one of the hottest topics in IT today. With the increasing number of attacks and threats, securing information systems is becoming more and more critical. Small business enterprises are becoming the target of frequent cyber-attacks and therefore it is imperative that they have quality cyber security. This bachelor thesis focuses on the cyber security of IS in a small business enterprise. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current state of IS cyber security in the enterprise and suggest possible improvements so that the assets of the enterprise are adequately protected. Thus, a sub-objective is also the identification of the assets of the enterprise and their protection. In order to successfully achieve these objectives, the RIPRAN method is used through which the assets of the enterprise and potential risks that may endanger the assets are identified. In addition, the analysis proposes individual measures to minimise the identified risks and thereby protect the company's assets. Once the risk analysis is completed, a risk assessment is carried out to determine whether the individual risks have been minimised to predetermined values, namely low values. Thus, the result of this work is the successfully proposed improvement of IS cyber security in a small business enterprise. This thesis also presents a comprehensive view of the cybersecurity issue and provides practical guidelines for small business enterprises to ensure quality cybersecurity of their information system.
