Abstract

The main Subject of this diploma Thesis, Topic is The Application of Qualitative and Quantitative Methods of Risk Management in Transportation Engineering, is to analyse achieved level of knowledge in the area of risk management, to identify qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis and to assess its applicability by the terms of contemporary business practice. The progress of risk analysis, which is processed in this diploma thesis, define especially statistical and simulation methods applied in the practical part of chosen project by ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION a. s. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the comparison of effectiveness and applicability of chosen methods in order to devise recommendation for risk management on production of the basis of achieved outputs.
