Abstract
The focus of this diploma is development of a software tool meant for creation of FMEA analyses, this software is meant to compete against existing commercial solutions. Those are usually very expensive, lack real-time collaboration features and aren't cross platform. Software implemented as part of this this diploma is an extenstion of term project. The application is a result of collective effort, and to fully understand the complete application, reading the other diploma by Bc. Vojtěch Grycz is required. This diploma is focused on frontend part of the application and colleague's diploma focuses on backend.
Diploma starts with providing an overview of FMEA analyses, from basic definitions to practical applications. It begins by explaining the basic principles, including their purpose and methodology. The document then specifies the requirements for the software tool to be made for these analyses, focusing on its functionality and user interface.
The next section of the document focuses on the technical implementation of the software. It discusses in detail the technologies used, such as React, Redux, Next.js and OpenAPI, and explains the reasons for their selection. It also looks at user interface decisions, including design choices and potential limitations, and ways to overcome these challenges. In addition, the document describes approaches to software testing, in particular using Jest.
The conclusion of the document summarises the key findings and outlines potential extensions to the tool.
