Abstract

Thesis deals with the design and implementation of the control system of a surface scanning device for metallurgical materials. The work contains the analysis of hardware part of the device. Emphasis is put on the description of motoric part, the means of control and the part of the optical scanning. The results of the analysis are used for control unit design including the software part of the system. Part of the work is the design of the PC software for device operation and subsequent processing of the visual information. The results are data of the scanned surface.
