Abstract

The main assignment of this bachelor thesis was drafting of proposals related to the optimization of inventory in the manufacturing factory. The basis for the drafting of the proposals was theoretical background associated with inventory management, the most important was the ABC analysis, the appropriate proposalsfor optimizingwere than formulated through.ABC analysis was applied with two materials, the one with the biggest financial value on the total financial value of inventory and the second material, which occupies the smallest financial value on the total financial value of inventory. For deeper analysis,the ABC analysis was applied from two perspectives, fromperspective of value in CZK and from perspective in the in the natural materials units. The resulting intersection of ABC analysis pointed the suggestion to the optimization with a focus on reducing safety stock by the first material and the implementation of kanban system by the second material. Proposals for the optimization of inventory can serve, due to simple application, in any manufacturing factory, because they are a kind of guide, how can be the ABC analysis used.
