Abstract

Wood processing technology is dangerous in light of wood dust origination. Wood dust is explosive (only under rare circumstances can be inexplosive). Filters, cyclons, storage bins, compressed air haulage are the dangerous parts of technology. In order to prevent explosion and explosion transmission, elements and systems of explosion protection are installed. For industry practice the individual parts of technology, elements of explosion protection and legal requirements are briefly assessed within the thesis.
