Abstract
This thesis is focused on the topic Competitive company strategies. The mentioned company is ST Servis s. r. o. that runs several sports and gym facilities, among others also the in-door swimming pool in Valašské Meziříčí that is the subject of this thesis. The content of the thesis is divided into five main chapters. In the introduction is a mention of the choice of the company and the aim of the thesis. The second chapter, the theoretic-methodological starting points, is focused on the explanation of the basic concepts and on the structure of competitive strategy. There are given methods and analysis for formation of competitive strategy. The content of the third chapter is the characteristic of the company where the operator and the owner of the in-door swimming pool are mentioned. Further the in-door swimming pool itself is characterized. The forth chapter, the practical starting points, is focused on the analysis of outdoor and indoor environment from which the recommended strategies for the company ST Servis s. r. o are coming out. In conclusion the results of the thesis are summarized.
The thesis should primarily serve company management ST Servis s. r. o. that is the operator of the in-door swimming pool. Thanks to the thesis the company can have at the disposal the comprehensive data about its competitors, customers, about its management since the beginning of the running of the in-door swimming pool, about its strong and weak points, its opportunities which it can make use and about threats to which it should face.
