Postavení Evropské unie v rámci světových ekonomických center

Abstract

The bachelor thesis provides comparision of the economies of the three main world economic centers – European Union, United States of America and Japan. The first chapter is devoted to the evolution of the world economy from its beginning in 19th century to the second decade of the 21st century and describes the influence of the main historic events on the world economy. The second chapter describes history and main economic indicators of the economies of the United States and Japan. The third chapter contains a comparision of th economies of the European Union, United States and Japan using indicators such as nominal gross domestic product, rate of development of GDP, GDP per capita, unemployment rate and inflation rate.
