Typologie dopravních nehod na křižovatkách v Ostravě

Abstract

The thesis deals with the typology of traffic accidents at intersections in Ostrava in 2013. Analyses are accomplished on the basis of information about traffic accidents (location, numbers, causes, consequences etc.) and about intersections (location, traffic volumes etc.). The ArcMap tools and traffic-engineering tools are used for determining and prognosis of traffic road volumes. The result is categorization of intersections according to traffic accident numbers and relative traffic accident indicator, and according to selected traffic accident attributes. The results are supplemented by maps, tables and graphs.
