KOCICH, P., Strategic analysis of TCHAS’ competitive environment, Ostrava, 2010, Master thesis at Faculty metallurgy and material engineering VŠB - Technical University Ostrava, master thesis supervisor Doc. Ing. Šárka Vilamová, Ph.D. Master thesis addresses external and macro environs analysis of company TCHAS, spol. s.r.o. including PEST, SWOT, Porter and Competitive groups analysis. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part introduces related concepts as competitive and macro environs, PEST analysis, SWOT analysis etc. and economical-technical characteristics of company TCHAS, spol. s.r.o. The second part relates to findings of current situation in construction industry, and familiarizes with trends in this industry. Moreover, the second part includes realization of strategic analysis that have and might have consequences on strategic performance of company TCHAS, spol. s.r.o. This thesis presents the reader with the current strategic position of company TCHAS, spol. s.r.o. among its biggest competitors and a brief summary of situation in Czech construction industry.
