Abstract

This thesis work focuses on the issue of primary and secondary test procedures for electrical protections (intelligent electrical devices – IED). First part of the work contains theoretical analysis of IED and protections in general and description of modules of IED REF615 manufactured by ABB Company. Following part (practical part) consist of description of measuring instruments, draft of secondary testing procedure and record from measuring. Final part concerns suggestion and description of configuration of typified substation.
