Abstract

The diploma thesis represents the question of geodetic measurement of the watercourse for the determination of the floodplains and their comparison with the digital terrain models. The first part presents the theoretical foundations of the studied subject. The practical part deals with the geodetic measurement itself, elaboration of the longitudinal profile and cross sections and comparison of the focus with digital terrain models 4G and 5G. In conclusions, it is shown the comparison of floodplains from their own focus and from the terrain model 5G and limits of use.
