Abstract
This thesis is focused on testing of brake systems, concretely the detection efficiency of the brake plates. The thesis is divided to two parts. The first part focuses on the theoretical analysis of possible ways of testing the efficiency and wear of the brake pads. The second part is devoted to experimental test, where is being tested commercial brake linings on the brake dynamometer and also includes an evaluation of results.
