Vliv aditiva na meze výbušnosti motorové nafty

Abstract

The aim of the dissertation is to evaluate the effect of adding a selected additive on the lower and upper explosive limits of diesel fuel. The introductory part of the work is focused on a summary of basic knowledge about combustion and explosion, characterization of the explosion process, the definition of lower and upper explosive limits and how it is possible to influence these limits. The introductory part also summarizes information about diesel and additives. The practical part of the dissertation then focuses on the experimental determination of the lower and upper explosive limits of pure and additive diesel on a test equipment – VK-20 explosion chamber. The measured data are evaluated at the end of the work.
