Abstract

For many years, various researches deal with the issue of alkali-activated systems that are suitable as a replacement binders based on cements. The aim of the work is to explore physical - mechanical and durability properties of prepared composites. In the experiment were determined tensile strength 7 - 10 MPa and a compressive strength reached 40 - 80 MPa, surface resistance to chemical de-icing substances was not demonstrated in this experiment. Densities exhibited values 2220 - 2280 kg /m3. Also frost resistance of mixtures was demonstrated, except mixture, where was modified sodium silicate used as the activator.
