The theme of this diploma thesis is to design new polyfunctional city block between streets Veveri, Kounciova and Pekarenska based on research of the place. This site is former bownfield, where most of buildings was demolished and today is only one working building with groceries. Site has fantastic connection to the public transport, where stations are located few meters from the designed block. Due to planned subway line and subway station in condsidered in this site in addition to residential buildigs also shopping centre, which will have quite strategic positioning on walking path between subway and other stations of the public transport.
