Abstract

This thesis process norms, standards and other informations available about the problems of rapid voltage changes and creates a workable solution for monitoring rapid voltage changes and their off-line evaluation.

The work is based on the requirements of the relatively new standard IEC 61000-4-15 Ed.2 for evaluation of rapid voltage changes from effective half period voltages between successive zero-crossings of the fundamental harmonic frequency. As development environment is used National Instruments LabVIEW 2010. Data are collecting by use of measuring card NI PCI-6221, which is available in the university laboratory.

At the conclusion of the work is evaluation of the results and describe the contribution of the thesis for next development of power quality measurement applications.
