Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a technological line for transport, storage and subsequent processing of woody biomass for combustion in a heating plant. The first part of this thesis is a research part and is devoted to the description of woody biomass as a material and to the description of mechanical processes that are applied in practice with this material. The next part is experimental and consists in the design of individual components for a technological line for woody biomass intended for combustion. It also deals with the measurement and subsequent analysis of the mechanical and physical properties of specific samples of woody biomass. On the basis of the values found, a capacity calculation was then performed for the transport route through the designed process line. Finally, all the results of the work were summarized including an evaluation.
