Abstract
This thesis deals with the accumulation of electric energy in the hydrogen system, which is powered by photovoltaic panels. It contains a summary of renewable energy sources and storage systems and describes their characteristics, including the basic partition. The storage systems are evaluated using multi-criterial analysis by minimizing the distance from the ideal option (TOPSIS). The major task of this thesis is to calculate the efficiency of the component units, that are connected within the storage system of the fuel cells laboratory VŠB-TU Ostrava, including photovoltaic panels for the hydrogen supply system. Data for calculations was obtained by practical measurement in the laboratory. The complementary measurement to determinate the efficiency comprised the measurement of load characteristics and performance characteristics of fuel cell (PEM technology) Nexa Power Module made by Ballard company.
