Abstract
This work is devoted to the analysis of acoustic properties of sound-absorbing polyurethane foams. It examines the influence of the type of foam and the surface finish. In the part devoted of measurement were sound absorption coefficient is measured.
The work is both theoretical and practical nature, the theoretical part is devoted to the explanation of the perception of noise, ambient noise also explanation acoustic variables and the acoustics in general. The practical part also includes an explanation of measurements.
The objective of this work is to summarize the basic properties of these foams, and suggest recommended use in practice.
