Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate a financial situation of Kalma, Ltd. in 2006- 2009. The thesis consists of four parts: theoretical part, brief characteristics of the company, practical part and summary and recommendations. Theoretical part is focused on financial analysis, its tools and techniques. In the practical part I accomplished the horizontal and vertical analysis of the accounting documents, financial ratio indicators, Du Pont´s analysis of ROA and ROE, the prediction of financial crisis and review of financial rules. I proposed some recommendations based on the results of the analysis which should help to improve the financial health of the company.
