Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on safety risks during the commissioning and decommissioning of gas pipelines when transitioning from natural gas to hydrogen. The theoretical part describes the physical and chemical properties of these gases and their behavior in pipeline infrastructure. The practical part includes experiments simulating pipeline filling, where the effects of different pressure regimes on the safety of the process were analyzed. The thesis proposes the addition of specific technical requirements to the ČSN EN 12327 standard, with an emphasis on operator training and process automation.
