Komparácia ekonomík Belgicka a Estónska v období 2007-2012 s dôrazom na verejný dlh

Abstract

The aim of this work is to compare public debt in Belgium and Estonia between 2007-2012 and identify its causes. In the first part of the work has been described historical developments and different way of countries integrating into the economic and monetary union whose convergence criterion for entry is public debt. The second part defines budget deficit and public debt, which are the main components of fiscal imbalances and theoretical approaches to the fiscal imbalance. In another part are compared the public debts of these countries. The last part is the subjective opinion of the author for the findings and his recommendations for policy-makers.
