Existencionální a globální rizika pro lidstvo

Abstract

FIEDOR, Ondřej. Existential and Global Risks to Mankind. Ostrava, 2016, 49 pages. Bachelor thesis. VŠB – Technical university of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, Department of Civil Protection. Supervisor: Ing. Pavel Dobeš, Ph.D. The thesis is dedicated to the topic of existential and global risks that might affect human society. In the introductory part summarizing of known human-being risks was carried out. The thesis also includes information on most significant organizations dealing with both imaginary group of risks, and their outline of current scientific community among the schema_dspacedb. The thesis also deals with known existencional risks closely analysis by 3 present risks: Nuclear war, extreme climate change and superinteligency. In conclusion, the thesis carries out the development of the current public attitude and state authorities in context of all 12 global existential risks, including preparedness for these risks.
