Abstract

The Bachelor thesis deals with information systems, supporting the performance of public administration in the Czech republic.The thesis come out of the law nr. 365/2000 Col. about information systems in the public administration.The aim of the public administration is to provide a quality public service and these information systems are a practical tool to do this. The Bachelor thesis is devoted primarily to theoretical definition of public administration and its organizational breakdown in the Czech Republic. Next part of the thesis clarify term e-Government and evaluate the present project of the e-Government in the Czech republic. The analytical part of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the current state of information systems in public administration.
