Abstract
Through cooperation of controlled rolling and cooling conditions with further heat treatment process, product can achieve expected industrial properties. Experimental part was focused on improvement of wire rod (GMn3Ni1CrMo), dia. 5,5 mm plastic properties determined to welding consumables production with present TŽ, a.s., technological conditions. Production undergoes former steps of controlled cooling and spheroid zing and later drawing to final diameters under 1,2 mm without necessity of interstage annealing.
Work target was discovery of optimal Stelmor conveyer speeds and final heat treatment curve which have to improve product structure conditions corresponding with customer requirements.
